Satu Huber

Chair of EMMI Board of Directors, General Assembly, and Nomination Committee

Satu Huber started her career at Citibank in February 1982, where she spent five years. She then spent 11 years in the now-called Nordea, where she headed global sales of treasury products. In 1997, she moved to the public sector, heading Finland’s debt management, borrowing and lending unit.

Mrs. Huber was later the first CEO and played a key role in the merger of the Finnish Banking and Insurance Associations, which formed Finance Finland. From 2008 to 2021, she served as CEO of ELO, Finland's third-largest pension fund, overseeing its strategic direction and operational growth. She has also served as a non-executive board member for numerous listed and non-listed companies in Finland and abroad.

Mrs. Huber holds a Master's degree from the Swedish School of Economics in Helsinki. In her free time, she enjoys tennis, clay pigeon shooting, and spending time with her grandchildren.
